To prevent sexual harassment as well as for gender equality and gender justice in all its intervention Internal Complaint Committee was re-established according to the sexual harassment of women at workplace (prevention, prohibition and redressal) Act 2013, on 31st March 2017 which comprises maximum women members. The committee is responsible for looking into any complaints filed by students and staff about woman grievances at the college.
The functions of the committee are to purely safeguard the rights of female students, faculty and staff members and also to provide a platform for listening to complaints. The committee also tries to equip them with the knowledge of their legal rights and redressal of their grievances.
The committee conducts seminars, lectures by specialists and eminent personalities to create awareness among girl students to stop violence, sexual harassment at workplace.
College displays a board of the committee members in front of Principal’s office. A complaint box also keeps in front of staff room. Students can report their grievances to the committee. After knowing grievance of the students committee take action and solve problems according the nature of the problems.
