Introduction of Department
Department of Botany is established in June 2012 with F.Y. B. Sc. level. Botany Department is an integral part of the college and is one of the best Departments in Life Sciences. The Department runs two courses viz B.Sc. (Three years degree course as one of the optional subject) and Certificate Course in Vermicompost. Dr. V.B.Ganipurkar is heading the Department of Botany.

The Botany Department of this college has received a reputation for providing quality education and fulfilling the growing needs within the Umri area and SRTMU Nanded Jurisdiction. Department has well-equipped Laboratory with computing facility for students and teachers. Enough laboratory time is made available to the students for maximum utilization of laboratory.
