The Chemistry Department is one of the reputed department in the SRTM University in all Taluka level College department and shows the eager to connect college chemistry student to the global level research. Department has well-equipped and full-filled chemical Laboratory with other basic facility for students and teachers.

The main strength is highly qualified and experienced enthusiastic faculty members which is actively engaged in research and are update in teaching learning skills. Apart from teaching schedule the faculty member’s gives parental care to the students.

Department of Chemistry is established in June 2009 with F.Y. B. Sc. level. Chemistry Department is an major department of the college and is one of the best Departments in Life Sciences and Physical Sciences.. Near about 90% student choose the Chemistry subject for B.Sc. course. The Department runs the B.Sc. (Three years degree course as one of the optional subject) course
