Department of zoology is established in June 2009 with FY BSc level. Zoology dept. is an integral part of college and is one of the best departments in life sciences. The department runs two courses viz BSc (three years degree course as one of the optional subject and certificate course in Agriculture. Dr V.V. Bhoyar is heading the dept. of zoology.

The zoology department of this college has received a reputation for providing quality education and fulfilling the growing needs within Umri area and SRTMU Nanded jurisdiction department has well equipped laboratory with computing facility for students and teachers. Enough laboratory time is made available to the students for maximum utilisation of laboratory.

Our main strength is highly qualified and experienced enthusiastic faculty which is actively engaged in research and are update in teaching learning skills. Apart from teaching schedule the faculty member’s gives parental care to the student.
